touristic activities based on environment are developped by the
Permanent Centre for environmental initiatives Rhône - Country
of Arles.
Adapted to différent publics :

• nursery schools and elementary schools
• secondary schools
• high schools
• CLSH Leisure
center without
accomodation
and favouring the diversity of the topics
of study, these pedagogic activities are in correlation with the different
study-cycles of school.
Every animation rests on the active participation
of the scholastic as well as on exits in the field.
Capitalized in room can supplement animation. |

Equipment and innovative pedagogic tools :
observatories, belvederes, observation towers, field glass, aquakit,
aquariums, illustrated guides, specifications sheets... so many
elements which allow to explore, to study, to understand the marshes
of Camargue.
- activities with active participation
:
Practical works in restrained and autonomous groups, thematic workshops,
inquiries... (accompanists somtimes can supervise any workshops).
- Competent supervision :
looked after by specialized animators, guarantors of a provision
of knowledge, anxious about a pedagogic cogitation, and informed
on the questions of security.
- A very broad fan of topics around the
wetland :
fauna, flora, the ambiences of the marsh, the man and environment,
the protection of nature.

Sessions
of training and exchanges are organized for the students of universities,
for agrarian trainings (BTA, BTSA), engineers' schools, and professionals
of environment.
They have as objective the transfer of knowledge and competences in
different domains :
-
• biodiversity of wetlands,
• management of wetlands,
• monitoring of the natural heritage,
• welcoming the public on protected aeras,
• role of protected aeras in local development.
